PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Orniz-OZ Suspension is administered to children to treat bacterial infections affecting the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and genital tract. It is also used as an empirical antibiotic for infected diarrhea mixed with blood and severe infections such as peritonitis.

To give Orniz-OZ Suspension to your child, administer it orally at a fixed time, either before or after meals. If your child experiences stomach upset, it is recommended to give the medicine with meals. Typically, the medicine is prescribed to be taken twice a day, in the morning and evening. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, you may repeat the same dose, but avoid doubling the dose if it's almost time for the next scheduled dose. Always adhere to the doctor's prescribed dose, timing, and administration method, as they depend on factors such as the type and severity of the infection, your child's age, and body weight.

In some instances, this medicine may cause mild and temporary side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, weight loss, metallic taste, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps, and a mild skin rash. These side effects are usually temporary and diminish as your child becomes accustomed to the medicine. If the side effects persist or become bothersome to your child, promptly consult your child's doctor.

When consulting the doctor, provide a complete medical history of your child, including any past allergies, heart problems, liver issues, or kidney malfunctions. This information is crucial for determining appropriate dosage adjustments and planning your child's overall treatment.
